Janet Wood Varner

Janet Wood Varner is a Lecturer at St. Mary's College of Maryland (SMCM), where she contributes to the Educational Studies Department and collaborates with the Math Department. A dedicated educator with over 20 years of experience in K-12 settings, she specializes in inclusive education, math/science/literacy instruction, and teacher mentoring. She holds a BA in Music from SMCM (1991), an MAT from Notre Dame of Maryland University, an MSc in Educational Leadership from Towson University, and a Doctorate in Higher Education from Concordia University.
