Janet Soskice is the William K. Warren Foundation Research Professor of Catholic Theology and Research Professor at Duke University's Divinity School. Her work focuses on theological language, ethics, and the intersection of science and religion. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Oxford (1982). Soskice has authored influential works on divine attributes, religious metaphor, and the theology of creation. Her teaching includes courses on theology through visual art, love and desire, and the philosophical foundations of Christian thought. Notable publications include Creation and the God of Abraham and The Kindness of God.
