Dr. Janet Lumpp is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Kentucky, affiliated with the Stanley and Karen Pigman College of Engineering. She has served in multiple administrative roles including Associate Director of the NASA Kentucky Space Grant Consortium and EPSCoR Programs since 2010.
- Education: Ph.D. in Materials Engineering (University of Iowa, 1993); M.S.Met.E. and B.S.Met.E. (Purdue University, 1989/1988)
Her research interests span Lasers, Materials, and Microelectronics Education. She has led NASA-related funding initiatives supporting graduate fellowships, undergraduate scholarships, and K-12 STEM education through the Kentucky Electronics Education Project (KEEP).
