Janet Genz

Dr. Janet Genz is a Professor of Biology at the University of West Georgia, affiliated with the School of Field Investigations and Experimental Sciences and the Dr. Perry College of Mathematics, Computing, and Sciences. She holds a B.S. in Biology from the University of Miami (2005) and a Ph.D. in Marine Biology & Fisheries from the University of Miami's Rosenstiel School of Marine & Atmospheric Science (2010).

Her research focuses on the physiology of aquatic organisms, particularly ion transport, nutrition, and energy utilization in both invertebrate and vertebrate species.
