Janet Ewing serves as Associate Professor of Business at Mary Baldwin University, where she developed the business major over four decades ago and has taught across both Mary Baldwin University and Virginia Commonwealth University campuses. She currently directs the Quantitative Center, dedicated to advancing students' quantitative reasoning skills, and advises a student-run coffee shop start-up providing entrepreneurial experience.
Her educational background includes:

- Four years of graduate study in Information Systems
Her professional focus integrates Business Administration with practical applications in Entrepreneurship and Quantitative Reasoning, leveraging 50+ years of real estate investment experience and specialized knowledge in Information Systems. Ewing actively contributes to academic governance through board memberships with local non-profit/for-profit organizations and Sigma Beta Delta, the international business honor society for management and administration.
