Janene Madras

Dr. Janene Madras serves as Professor and Director of Student Services at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) School of Pharmacy. A Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) and Board Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist (BCACP), she maintains pharmacy licenses in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Michigan while practicing in a family medicine setting.

Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (B.S. Pharm) and Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree. She completed residencies at The University of Toledo and University of Michigan Health System/Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

Specializing in ambulatory care, Dr. Madras focuses on integrating pharmacotherapy into primary care through medication management for chronic conditions, interprofessional collaboration, and clinical skills development. Her work bridges pharmacy practice with medical education through direct patient care and academic instruction.

As an academic leader, she serves as faculty advisor for the Rho Chi Society and Student Government Association while providing individual academic advising to pharmacy students. Her clinical preceptorship at a family medicine office offers hands-on training for students in real-world ambulatory care settings.
