Janelle L. Wagner

Dr. Janelle L. Wagner is a Research Associate Professor at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in the College of Nursing, affiliated with the MUSC Comprehensive Epilepsy Center. She holds leadership roles in national/international epilepsy organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics and American Epilepsy Society. Her research focuses on behavioral health interventions for youth with pediatric epilepsy, funded by the NIH, Epilepsy Foundation, and others.

Education:

• PhD in Clinical Psychology, Oklahoma State University
• Internship/Fellowship in Pediatric Psychology, MUSC

Research Interests: Behavioral health assessment, adherence interventions for epilepsy families, quality of life measures, and epidemiological studies. Her work bridges clinical psychology and nursing, emphasizing child health outcomes and chronic disease management.
