Janelle Joseph, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health Sciences and Sport Management at Brock University, Ontario. She is the Founder and Director of the IDEAS Research Lab, focusing on Indigeneity, Diaspora, Equity, and Anti-racism in Sport. Her work bridges Black Studies, Health Sciences, and Sport Management to address systemic barriers in movement cultures. Dr. Joseph has secured over $4 million in research grants and authored over 50 publications and three books on social justice in sport.
