Dr. Janeen Hill is a Professor of Biological Sciences at Chapman University’s Schmid College of Science and Technology and founding Dean of the Crean College of Health and Behavioral Sciences. She holds a PhD in Exercise Physiology from the University of New Mexico and has expertise in cardiovascular medicine, muscle physiology, and healthcare leadership. Her research focuses on afferent fiber responses during diaphragmatic fatigue, metabolic effects of alcohol consumption, and pain management strategies. She has led initiatives expanding Chapman’s healthcare programs, including the Rinker Health Science campus, and played a critical role in reopening campus operations during the pandemic. A Phi Beta Kappa member, Dr. Hill has published extensively in cardiology and physiology, balancing academic research with administrative leadership.
