Jane Stacey is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Teacher Education at the College of Social Sciences and Arts. She serves as Course Leader for BA Hons Primary Education with QTS and BA Hons Early Years Education with QTS, as well as Subject Leader for Primary/Early Years Modern Foreign Languages. With the department since 2008, her prior experience includes roles as a class teacher in Key Stages One and Two, specialist languages teacher from Foundation Stage to Key Stage Three, regional trainer for the Key Stage Two Framework for Languages, and lead professional for primary MFL.
Her research interests focus on:

- Child development frameworks
