Jane Rabanal

Jane Rabanal is a Lecturer at San Francisco State University (SFSU), located in the Creative Arts Building, Room 14. Her professional roles include directing Structural Packaging Design at The Companion Group in Berkeley and freelance consulting in Oakland. She holds an M.A. in Industrial Design from SFSU and a B.A. in Architecture/Environmental Design from UC Berkeley.

Her research interests focus on design's intersection with sustainability, social impact, and human/social behavior. With over 17 years of experience in the housewares industry, she has designed products and packaging and holds multiple product design patents.

Office hours are held virtually via ZOOM on Wednesdays from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. by appointment.
