Jane Powell

Jane Powell is a Professor of Public Health Economics at the University of the West of England (UWE), Bristol. She serves as Director of the Centre for Public Health and Wellbeing, a UWE Center of Excellence for teaching and research. Her expertise spans multidisciplinary public health, with a focus on economics, climate action, and social prescribing.

Recent Publications (2024–2019) include systematic reviews on climate change impacts, economic evaluations of chronic disease care, and process studies for physical activity interventions.
