Professor Jane McGillivray is Head of the School of Psychology at Deakin University within the Faculty of Health. She is a Professor and an endorsed clinical psychologist with over 30 years of experience in academia and clinical practice. The School of Psychology is ERA 5 rated and hosts over 130 academic staff and 170 PhD students.

Jane McGillivray's research focuses on mental health and social-emotional wellbeing across the lifespan, particularly in marginalized groups such as individuals with autism, intellectual disability, and those in out-of-home care. Her work emphasizes the development and evaluation of clinical interventions, especially in sleep, resilience, and mental health.
