Associate Professor Jane Gavan is an academic and artist at the University of Sydney's Sydney College of the Arts, specializing in visual art and creativity. She holds academic affiliations with the Sydney Centre for Healthy Societies and the Sydney Southeast Asia Centre. Her research bridges environmental, material science, and community engagement, focusing on sustainable creative practices and cross-cultural collaborations, particularly in Vietnam. She has led projects such as the 'Manufacturing Creativity' exhibition and co-designed museum exhibitions addressing wartime history and environmental themes.
