Dr. Jane Fischer is a research and teaching academic with decades of experience in Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) research, harm reduction, and social planning. She holds positions at Flinders University in the College of Education, Psychology and Social Work, as well as teaching roles at Central Queensland University and the University of Adelaide College. Her work focuses on translating research into practice and leading multi-stakeholder projects in public health, with over 100 research outputs to her name.

Dr. Fischer has extensive teaching experience across multiple institutions, coordinating and lecturing on topics including Basics of Social Statistics, Population Dynamics, and Sustainable Development.
