Jane Collins is a Senior Lecturer in the Initial Teacher Education (ITE) program at York St John University, where she serves as Mentor Development Lead.

Her research focuses on English education, creative writing pedagogy, and the development of pupil agency. She leads the cross-school project Empowering Families through Creative Writing, examining how co-constructed creative writing impacts reflective functioning and mental health.
