Dr. Jane Chong is a Lecturer at the School of Psychological Science, University of Western Australia (UWA), and an Adjunct Research Fellow at the Future of Work Institute (2024–2024). She holds a PhD and Master’s in Industrial and Organisational Psychology from UWA. Her research focuses on work motivation, newcomer socialisation, and age diversity/inclusion, with a scientist-practitioner approach to enhance employee experiences. She collaborates with organizations to implement practical solutions grounded in self-determination theory and meta-analysis.

Research Interests: Jane’s work addresses challenges in aging at work, employee motivation, and organizational socialization. Her studies often involve meta-analyses and large-scale surveys, such as examining pandemic impacts on mature workers.
