Jane Chin

Jane Chin is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Education at Queen's University. She specializes in English language curriculum development, pedagogy, and didactics with a focus on international education contexts. Her work emphasizes non-ESL/TESOL approaches and teacher training initiatives.

Research Interests: Her research centers on improving literacy education methodologies and teacher development programs, particularly through her involvement in the 1 Million Teachers (1MT) Project. This initiative aims to enhance teacher quality and retention in Sub-Saharan Africa via integrated online and classroom training combined with mentorship and incentive systems.
