Professor Jane Bleasel is an Honorary Professor at the University of Newcastle's School of Medicine and Public Health, serving as Dean of the Joint Medical Program and Head of the School since June 2022. A practising rheumatologist with over three decades of experience, she holds a MBBS from Sydney University, a PhD in osteoarthritis genetics, and a Master of Health Professional Education from Monash University.
