Jana Scholze

Dr. Jana Scholze is an Associate Professor at Kingston School of Art, where she heads the MA Curating Contemporary Design program in collaboration with the Design Museum. Her transdisciplinary research investigates interactions between design, society, and technology through exhibitions and critical analysis.

With prior curatorial experience at the Victoria and Albert Museum, she has organized significant exhibitions including 'What is Luxury?' and 'Cold War Modern'. She serves on advisory boards for the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg and Stanley Picker Gallery, influencing cultural policy and practice.

Dr. Scholze holds a PhD in Philosophy from Technical University Berlin and degrees in Museum Studies and Art History. She co-founded The Design Film Festival and curated 'At Home' for the Saint-Étienne Design Biennial.
