Jan Williams (she/her/hers) is an Instructor at Oregon State University's School of Human Development and Family Sciences, affiliated with the 4-H Youth Development department within the OSU Extension Service. She serves in Clackamas County, focusing on community outreach and youth education. Her work includes developing youth programs, managing 4-H initiatives, and addressing local childcare needs through innovative training programs.
Expertise: Nutrition, healthy eating strategies, recipe development for youth, and educational resource creation. She collaborates extensively with teams like Wendy Hein and Kelly Redwine to produce seasonal newsletters (Spring/Summer/Fall/Winter editions) that guide community engagement and program implementation. A notable achievement is her leadership in the 4-H babysitter training program, which directly addresses Oregon's childcare shortages while fostering career pathways for youth.
