Professor Jan Rosier, Élan Full Professor of the Business of Biotechnology at University College Dublin's School of Biomolecular and Biomedical Science, combines pharmaceutical science expertise with business strategy. Holding doctorates from Ghent University and Cranfield School of Management, he previously served as VP at Johnson & Johnson and CEO of FORMAC Pharmaceuticals NV.

Research Interests: Focus on biotechnology innovation management, drug pricing economics, and formulation technologies for HIV treatments. His work explores absorptive capacity in R&D and alternative mechanisms for drug affordability.
Teaching: Coordinates modules in biotech economics, innovation strategy, and pharmaceutical management at UCD. Advocates student interaction and class discussion pedagogy.
