Dr Jan Lewis is a Visiting Fellow in the Department of Humanities and Law at Bournemouth University's Faculty of Media and Communication. Her research focuses on the intersection of archaeology and radio broadcasting, particularly examining professional archaeologists' roles in BBC radio from 1922 to the mid-1960s. She highlights radio's role in public archaeology communication and explores gender dynamics in early radio history and archaeological historiography.
