Jan Kranich

Jan Kranich is a Senior Researcher/Project Leader at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU Munich), affiliated with the BioMedical Center and the Institute for Immunology. His work focuses on extracellular vesicles and lymphocyte interactions, leveraging advanced technologies such as imaging flow cytometry, STORM superresolution microscopy, and single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNAseq).

His research involves developing phosphatidylserine-binding reagents to identify and manipulate extracellular vesicles in vivo. These tools are used to study immune interactions in health and disease, particularly during acute and chronic viral infections.
