Jan Hanousek is a Professor of Economics at CERGE-EI (joint institution of Charles University and Czech Academy of Sciences) and Senior Researcher at the Economics Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences. His academic career spans over three decades, including visiting positions at Princeton University and University of Michigan. He holds a PhD in Statistics and undergraduate degree in Probability Theory from Charles University.
