Jan G. Bjålie is a Professor and Vice Dean for Research and Innovation at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Oslo. He has led neuroinformatics development since the 1990s and held leadership roles including Head of the Department of Basic Medical Sciences (2009-2016) and Head of Infrastructure Development for EBRAINS. His research bridges neuroanatomy, computational neuroscience, and digital brain atlases.
