Jan Dvorak is a Researcher at the University of Hohenheim, affiliated with the Department of Food Informatics and the Computational Science Hub (CSH). He serves as a research associate in the BMBF-funded 'AI & Data Science Certificate Hohenheim (AIDAHO)' project, which equips students with AI and data science skills. His work bridges computational social science with interdisciplinary research in political communication and social movements.
Education: M.A. in Communication Management and Analysis from University of Hohenheim (2021), B.A. in Media Studies and Political Science from Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen (2019). He has held research roles at the Institute of Media Studies (Tübingen) and the Institute of Communication Science (Hohenheim).
Dvorak collaborates on the DFG project 'De/Sacralization of Texts' focusing on historical literary canons. His research interests include political scandals, computational methods in media studies, and interdisciplinary applications of data science.
