Jan Beyne

Jan Beyne is an Assistant Professor at Antwerp Management School and Head of the Sustainable Transformation Competence Center. He holds a PhD in Sustainability Management from the University of Antwerp, along with Master's degrees in Social Economic Sciences and Diplomacy and International Relations. His expertise focuses on sustainability integration in organizations, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Jan combines academic research with practical experience, offering training in sustainability for master’s and postgraduate programs.

He specializes in translating complex sustainability frameworks like the SDGs into actionable strategies for businesses and governments. His research interests include sustainable innovation, stakeholder engagement, and the intersection of ESG principles with human resources management. Jan frequently presents on topics such as sustainable entrepreneurship, digital transformation’s sustainability challenges, and the role of emotions in driving sustainability intelligence.

He co-developed programs like the Master in Sustainable Innovation & Entrepreneurship and the Masterclass Sustainable Communication & Reporting. Jan advocates for inclusive sustainability practices, emphasizing the need for organizations to balance environmental and social goals with economic viability. His work bridges theoretical frameworks and practical implementation, serving as a bridge-builder between business realities and sustainability ambitions.
