Jan Allison Moore is a Professor and Academic Diversity Officer at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, affiliated with the Department of Communication Disorders in the College of Education. She holds a PhD from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (1994), an MS from Purdue University (1983), and a BSE from the University of Central Arkansas (1980).

Professional engagements include roles in the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), Nebraska Speech and Hearing Association, and the Academy of Rehabilitative Audiology (Treasurer). She is involved with the UNK RiteCare Telepractice Clinic, providing clinical services.
