Dr Jamie Walvisch is a Senior Lecturer at the UWA Law School, specializing in criminal law, mental health law, and forensic evidence. He holds a PhD from Monash University and has taught at Monash, Melbourne Law School, and UWA since 2013. His research focuses on interdisciplinary approaches to mental health and criminal law, advocating for law reforms that reduce stigma and enhance justice. He has authored over 39 publications and co-edited influential works like *The Feminist Legislation Project* and *The Future of Mental Health, Disability and Criminal Law*.
