Jamie Snook

Jamie Snook is an Adjunct Professor at the School of Arctic and Subarctic Studies, with a career centered on leadership, policy, and community development in Labrador. He is affiliated with the NunatuKavut Community Council and has focused on advancing Inuit self-determination, particularly in fish and wildlife conservation, governance, and Indigenous health.

• Education: PhD in Public Health from the University of Guelph

His research examines the intersection of wildlife co-management frameworks (e.g., Labrador Inuit Land Claims Agreement) and Inuit health outcomes, utilizing interdisciplinary and intergovernmental approaches.
