Dean Jamie Pukl-Werbel serves as Assistant Provost for Faculty Affairs and inaugural Assistant Dean of Experiential Education at Seton Hall University School of Law. She oversees experiential education programs including advocacy training, trial practice, and externships. Her administrative roles also include prior leadership in Alumni Relations and Development.
Education:
- B.A. in Communications and Business from Loyola University Maryland
- J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law
Research & Expertise: Specializes in legal ethics, trial advocacy, and technology's role in evolving legal practice. Regularly presents on professionalism, crisis management for legal professionals, and skills-based education.
Awards:
- 2014-2015 Professor of the Year Nominee
- First Recipient of the Public Interest Fellowship (Seton Hall Law)
Professional Background: Former Assistant District Attorney in New York County (200+ felony prosecutions) and prosecutor in narcotics investigations. Served as a judicial clerk in New Jersey Superior Court.
