Jamie Pelton is an Assistant Professor of Exercise Science and Fieldwork Coordinator at Springfield College, affiliated with the School of Physical Education, Performance and Sport Leadership and the Department of Exercise Science. She holds a Master of Science from Springfield College and a Bachelor of Science from Hofstra University.

Her research focuses on cardiovascular physiology, medical physiology, and the intersection of reproductive health with resistance training. She specializes in exercise testing, prescription, and electrocardiogram interpretation, preparing students for clinical and applied exercise science roles.
Jamie has taught courses such as Introduction to Applied Exercise Science, Exercise Testing & Prescription, and Electrocardiogram Interpretation & Graded Exercise Testing Lab. Her certifications include NSCA-CSCS, ISSA-CIN, and AHA ACLS/BLS. She actively contributes to professional organizations like the Clinical Exercise Physiology Association and the American College of Sports Medicine.
