Jamie L. Mullaney is a Professor of Sociology and Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs at Goucher College, with a Ph.D. in Sociology (Culture and Cognition) from Rutgers University (2003). Her scholarly work spans time studies, emotion sociology, and identity formation, with notable books including Everyone is NOT Doing It: Abstinence and Personal Identity (University of Chicago Press, 2006) and Paid to Party (Rutgers UP, 2012) on emotional labor in direct sales.
