Jamie Hoskins is a Teaching Professor in the Broadcast and Digital Journalism program at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, Syracuse University, since Fall 2023. She specializes in teaching broadcast and digital news reporting, management, and production. Prior to academia, she held executive producer roles at major TV stations including WTTG-TV (Washington, D.C.), WIVB-TV (Buffalo), and WABC-TV (New York City). A graduate of the Newhouse School herself, she holds a Master’s in Broadcast and Digital Journalism (2013) and a B.A. in Political Science from SUNY Albany.
Research & Expertise: Hoskins focuses on practical applications of broadcast journalism, digital media production, and newsroom management. Her Emmy Award-winning career reflects expertise in writing, editing, and producing content across TV and digital platforms.
