Jamie Grymes is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY. He holds a Ph.D. in Operations Research from the Colorado School of Mines, an M.S. in Computational Operations Research from William and Mary, and a B.S. in Mathematics from Presbyterian College. His military service includes assignments with the 3rd Infantry Division, US Army Recruiting Command, and the Army G1.
Research Focus: Grymes specializes in applied optimization with emphasis on energy systems resilience, sustainability modeling, and discrete event simulation. His work addresses critical infrastructure challenges including:
