Jamie Crockett is an Associate Professor and Co-Graduate Program Director in the Department of Counseling at Wake Forest University, where she has been a faculty member since 2014. Her work integrates neuroscience, contemplative practices, and social justice into counseling frameworks.

Her research spans attachment theory, breath-based interventions, and therapeutic justice, with a focus on marginalized populations including incarcerated women and those experiencing pregnancy loss. She explores mindfulness, spirituality, and feminist pedagogies in clinical and educational settings.
