Jamie Allman is a Lecturer in Early Years Education with over a decade of experience in education spanning birth to eleven-year-olds. Previously a KS2 teacher in Malaysia, he retrained in the UK to specialize in early years education and management. He currently advocates for child-led learning and emphasizes autonomy in early childhood development.

Research focuses on emotional intelligence development, early childhood trauma mitigation, and the role of play in learning. He leads physical development and education initiatives. His 2022 research examines tutor roles in playful pedagogies, intersecting with post-human educational theory and Italian pedagogical practices.
External engagements include involvement with Thiriving Language and Bright Futures programs. His work bridges theoretical frameworks with practical early years educational environments.
