Jamie Allen

Dr. Jamie Allen is a Senior Lecturer/Researcher at the FHNW University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland, based in the Institute Experimental Design and Media Cultures (IXDM) at the Basel Academy of Art and Design. His work bridges artistic practice, media theory, and environmental science, focusing on infrastructures, ecological justice, and planetary systems. He holds a PhD in media and infrastructure studies and has held roles including Canada Research Chair in Infrastructure, Media and Communications at NSCAD and Head of Research at CIID.
