Jami Fullerton is Professor & Lawrence L. Boger Chair in International Studies at Oklahoma State University's School of Global Studies, where she also serves as Director of Academic Programs and Associate Dean. She holds a PhD in Higher Education Administration from the University of North Texas, a Master of Journalism from the same institution, and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma.

Professor Fullerton's scholarly work demonstrates a strong focus on how nations build their reputations internationally and how communication strategies influence perceptions of countries. Her recent publications explore the relationship between nation branding and foreign direct investment, the effectiveness of the US Peace Corps as a public diplomacy tool, and various aspects of sport diplomacy. She has developed a sports diplomacy model that identifies critical abilities for converting sport soft power into diplomatic outcomes. Her research integrates communication theory with international relations, particularly examining how media coverage affects public perceptions of nations.
