James Sadd is a Professor in Environmental Science at Occidental College, appointed in 1991. He earned his B.S. from the University of Southern California, M.S. from the University of Texas, and Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina. Dr. Sadd specializes in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), spatial analysis, and statistical tools to address environmental problems such as human exposure to hazards, environmental justice, air pollution, climate change impacts, coastal erosion, and marine habitat dynamics.
