James Moore is a Lecturer in English for Academic Purposes (EAP) at the University of Leeds, within the School of Languages, Cultures and Societies. He serves as the General English Programme Leader and is affiliated with the Language Centre research group.
His research focuses on Applied Linguistics with specialization in English for Academic Purposes, Language Education, and Academic Writing. Dr. Moore addresses challenges in academic language skill development for higher education students through curriculum design and pedagogical innovation in EAP contexts.
As an active contributor to the Language Centre, he supports university-wide language teaching initiatives and student academic development programs.
