Dr. James Mobley is a Lecturer in Epidemiology at Sam Houston State University since 2014, teaching virtually from Portland, Texas. His expertise spans Public Health and Family Medicine. He serves as Medical Advisor to Texas A&M Health South Texas Initiative, addressing diabetes, cancer, and asthma in 27 South Texas counties. As San Patricio County Health Authority for 40 years, he holds one of the longest-serving roles in Texas. Retired U.S. Army Brigadier General, he led the 807th Medical Command and founded a medical careers club for high school students over 25 years.
