James Mack is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Fort Valley State University's College of Arts and Sciences, where he has taught since 1995. His academic career spans over four decades, including prior roles at Wayne State University (1971-1977), Johnson & Johnson (1982-1994), and a Faculty Fellowship at the Department of Army Headquarters (2001). He specializes in inorganic, physical, and biochemistry research, with expertise in transition metal complexes, materials science, and environmental chemistry.
