Dr. Kraft's work explores how religious beliefs are justified when confronted with sophisticated alternatives. He is the author of The Epistemology of Religious Disagreement (2012, Palgrave/MacMillan) and co-editor of Religious Tolerance Through Humility (Ashgate Publishing). His research argues that self-reflection on religious beliefs under disagreement often reveals weak justifications, prompting humility and tolerance.
He contributes to the Religious Studies Minor at Huston-Tillotson University, which emphasizes understanding global religions, preparing for ministry, and addressing science-religion interactions. For inquiries, contact him at jjkraft@htu.edu.
