James Johns

James Johns, M.D. serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor within the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Northeast Ohio Medical University's (NEOMED) College of Medicine. Based at the main campus in Rootstown, Ohio, he contributes to NEOMED's mission of training healthcare transformational leaders through clinical education and community-focused medical practice.

His academic work centers on family medicine and community health disciplines, with emphasis on:

• Primary care delivery systems
• Community-based medical education
• Interprofessional healthcare training
• Rural and underserved population health

As a clinical faculty member, Dr. Johns integrates patient care with medical student instruction across NEOMED's educational programs.
