David Sperling

David Sperling, M.D., serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Northeast Ohio Medical University's College of Medicine. Based at the Rootstown, Ohio campus, he contributes to NEOMED's mission of creating transformational healthcare leaders through clinical education and community engagement.

His academic focus centers on Family Medicine and Community Health, with specific expertise in primary care systems, preventive medicine protocols, and health equity initiatives for underserved populations. These interests directly support NEOMED's strategic priorities in community-based health services research and interprofessional education.

Dr. Sperling actively participates in clinical teaching through the College of Medicine's curriculum and is involved with the NEOMED Free Clinic, which provides essential healthcare services to vulnerable communities.
