James J. Brudney is the Joseph Crowley Chair in Labor and Employment Law at Fordham University School of Law, where he teaches Labor Law, Employment Law, and Legislation and Regulation. He previously held the Newton D. Baker-Baker & Hostetler Chair at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. His expertise spans Employment and Labor Law, Legislation, and Statutory Interpretation. Brudney has served as Chief Counsel and Staff Director of the U.S. Senate Subcommittee on Labor and held visiting roles at Harvard and Georgetown Law Schools.

Research Interests: Brudney focuses on workplace law, statutory interpretation, and labor standards.
