James Higley is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET) in the College of Technology at Purdue University Northwest (PNW), where he has been teaching since 1988. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he manages the MET Program and conducts applied research with companies.
Professor Higley holds an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, West Lafayette (1987) and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, Hammond (1985). He also maintains a Professional Engineer License (Number 9300387) from Indiana, though it is currently inactive.
