James Goodwin

Professor James Goodwin serves as the Director of Science and Research Impact at the Brain Health Network in London. He holds a PhD in Medical Science (Physiology) from the University of Exeter Medical School and an MSc in Human Biology from Loughborough University. His research focuses on ageing, brain health, and physiological responses to extreme environments. He has held leadership roles in charities like Help the Aged and Age UK, advancing research impact and policy.

A globally recognized thought leader, he authored Supercharge Your Brain and frequently speaks on health optimization strategies. Recognized for his contributions, he became a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences (FAcSS) in 2014. His military career included 20 years in the Army Reserve and medals from national shooting competitions. He has advised international bodies like the UN, WHO, and EC-funded projects, and testified before parliamentary and congressional committees.
